Gardaí are appealing for witnesses after a motorcyclist died in a crash in Kildare last night.

The woman in her 40’s crashed into the central divide on the M9 between Junction 1 and Junction 2 southbound at about 8.30pm.

She was pronounced dead at the scene and no one else was injured in the incident.

The road has reopened following a forensic examination.
