A man has died after his car was involved in a collision with a truck in Co Cork this morning.
The collision happened on the N72 at Longueville, Eden Hill just outside Mallow shortly before 4.30am.
A man in his early 30s, who was the sole occupant of the car, died when the car he was driving collided with a truck.
He was pronounced dead at scene and his body was taken to Cork University Hospital for a post mortem. No other injuries were reported.
The N72 is closed at Longueville for a forensic investigation and diversions are in place.
