A man is in hospital after being stabbed in a Dublin housing estate last night.

The 52-year-old was attacked at a house on Belcamp Green in Coolock shortly after midnight.

It has been reported that broken bottle or glass was used to stab the man.

His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening and no arrests have been made.

The scene of the assault has been preserved for a technical examination.
