Westmeath have made one change to their side for Sunday’s Leinster final with Dublin in Croke Park.

Callum McCormack is in for John Connellan in the forward line.

Last year the Maroons lost by 13 points to the Dubs despite a defensive game plan but their manager Tom Cribbin says they’ll take a different approach this time around.

“The lads, the time before, when they met Dublin in Croke Park they got a bit of a hiding, and they wanted to see could they try and play well defensively against them,” he explained. “You can do that if you want to go out and hold the scores down.

“This year I think we have to have a crack at them and see where we are – see how much ground we have to make up.”
