An 18-year-old has appeared in court charged today with the murder of a man in Dublin at the weekend.

Paul Curran, 24, died after being stabbed at Seagull House flat complex in Crumlin.

Today, Graham McEvoy, from Captains Road in Crumlin, appeared before the Dublin District Court charged with murder.

The court heard the accused made no comment when he was charged just before 1am this morning.

Judge Michael Walsh remanded him in custody for a week. He will appear in court again next Monday.

An 18-year-old woman – who was arrested as part of the investigation – has been released without charge.
