A man has been taken to Beaumont Hospital after he was assaulted last night at Dollymount Strand in North Dublin.

Gardaí investigating the incident which happened at around 8.30pm – have made a number of arrests.

The injured man suffered minor injuries during the attack and is expected to make a full recovery.
