The Taoiseach and the French President are meeting at Government Buildings this morning.
Francois Hollande is visiting to discuss the impact of the Brexit vote as well as security issues in Europe.
The pair are also expected to discuss the border with Northern Ireland and what shape Europe might take in the coming years.
The Taoiseach will also outline Ireland’s case for a special deal with Britain, after German Chancellor Angela Merkel seemed to reject the idea.
