Tennis stars Bernard Tomic And Viktor Troicki incurred the wrath of a US police officer yesterday – by playing tennis.
The pair were practising on court ahead of the Citi Open in Washington DC when they were interrupted by a cop who wanted them to stop due to a risk of bad weather.
The players said that as it wasn’t raining yet they would prefer to continue but the officer wasn’t taking no for an answer.

“Do you want to knock it off now?” he said. “Knock it off.
“Leave, come on. Let’s go. There’s bad weather coming in.”
When they continued to question his orders he raised his voice and added: “I didn’t ask you a question, I’m telling you”.
That seems like a crazy level of aggression to bring to a simple conversation about bad weather.
