Hundreds of shoppers were evacuated from IKEA in Dublin this afternoon.

Shoppers in Ballymun took to Twitter to say that they had been told to leave, with reports that there was a smell of burning.

There were reports of a technical problem with the building.

Shortly afterwards, people were told that they can return to the store and that it was a false alarm.
