Major traffic restrictions due to Luas Cross City Works in Dublin kick into action tonight for the August Bank Holiday.
The quays at O’Connell Bridge will be closed for Luas works from 8pm this evening until 6am on Tuesday morning.

Authorities have defended the decision, saying they need a run of three days to conduct the works.
Sporting events are taking place in Croke Park and the Aviva Stadium this weekend and people are being urged to avail of public transport, which has left some taxi drivers unhappy.
