A man in his 80s has been injured in an aggravated burglary in Dublin.
Three armed men are reported to have entered a house at Kettle’s Lane, Swords on Friday between 3am and 4am on Friday morning.
They demanded money and assaulted the home owner. They stole a small amount of cash.
Gardaí say he suffered non life-threatening injuries in the incident. He was taken to Beaumont Hospital for treatment.
The men were wearing dark clothing and balaclavas and fled the scene with a small amount of cash. In their appeal for information, the Gardaí said two of the men spoke with Dublin accents.
