A man remains in Garda custody in connection with an armed robbery at a Co Kildare filling station.
The raid happened on Thursday when a man entered the premises on the Carlow Road in Athy.
He threatened a female staff member with a handgun and made off with an amount of cash.
Gardaí arrested the man in his 20s, in the Athy area yesterday morning.
He is being held at Newbridge garda station.
Meanwhile, a man has also been charged in connection with the seizure of €430,000 worth of ecstasy and cocaine in Dublin.
The 29-year-old man has been released from garda custody and is due to appear before Dublin District Court at a later date.
