Four people have been arrested in connection with the robbery of a Post Office in Clogherhead, Co Louth on Tuesday May 3.
Three men entered the Post Office, threatened staff and fled the scene with a large amount of cash.
Three men, aged 30, 33 and 42-years and a woman, 23-years, were arrested in the Louth area this morning, Monday August 1.
They are currently detained under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act, 1939 as amended at Balbriggan, Dundalk, Drogheda and Navan Garda Stations.
A number of premises were also searched this morning in the Drogheda District in connection with this investigation.
