Gardaí are helping the PSNI trace four armed men believed to have been involved in a shooting at a Fermanagh hotel this morning.
The PSNI says four armed men wearing balaclavas arrived at a hotel on the town’s main street shortly before 9.30am and fired one shot into the van of a contractor working there.
No one was injured in the incident, but officers say people in the area have been left shaken.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the PSNI’s non-emergency number 101.
Police later found what they believe to be the get away car burned out nearby.
It is understood the men may have crossed the border and officers are working closely with Gardaí to trace their movements.
