Republic of Ireland boss Martin O’Neill was at Tallaght Stadium last night to witness Dundalk’s sensational victory against BATE Borisov. The win leaves them just one win away from a place in the Champions League group stages.
O’Neill called into the dressing room afterwards – and his congratulations went down a lot better with the players than the FAI’s did with League of Ireland fans.
Ireland’s international boss was hugely impressed with the performance during the 3-0 win and highlighted several individual players.
A bit of hasty pixelation was needed to spare the blushes of those who had stripped down faster than their teammates, but the lads look to have appreciated the visit.
If you haven’t seen them, these were the goals from the Lilywhites epic win.
