Update – 2pm: A number of buildings have been evacuated in Waterford city after a bomb alert at the city council offices.
There are reports of one bomb in the city council offices and one in the Theatre Royal next door.

Gardaí got a call reporting a bomb in buildings next to the city council offices.
Gardaí and members of the EOD team are at the scene.
