The holder of a EuroMillions ticket worth almost €400,000 has until 5.30pm today to claim their prize.

Nobody has come forward to claim the winning Quick Pick ticket, which was purchased in a Tesco store in Midleton, Co Cork on May 6.

The winning numbers were 32, 34, 40, 45 and 48 and the Lucky Stars were 1 and 10.

People on the streets of Dublin had a few different approaches to the notion of suddenly coming into €400,000

“I’d give half of it to charity straight away, because I think if I had that much money I’d go insane. (Then), I’d go on a huge shopping spree,” said one.

“I’d go on a big holiday and buy an apartment. I’d go a little crazy,” said another.

“I’d first go on a lovely holiday and I’d think about it while I was on holiday.” said another who was in favour of a more cautious approach.
