Less than 10 to go until the start of the new Premier League season and the air is heady with optimism.

Buoyed by Leicester’s astonishing success last season, in some corner of their heart nearly even fan believes this could be their team’s year.

For most those dreams will be crushed long before Christmas, as reality rears it’s ugly head.
