A man has died after a road accident in Co Donegal yesterday.

A car was in a collision with a lorry at Tullyrap, Raphoe, Co Donegal just before 1pm yesterday afternoon.

The car’s two occupants, a male driver in his early 30s and a female in her late teens, were brought to Letterkenny Hospital.

The driver was pronounced dead in the early hours of this morning. The teenage girl is still in hospital and her condition is unknown.

The driver of the lorry was uninjured and the road has since re-opened.
