Nearly €2m in funding has been announced for youth projects.

Capital grants will be allocated for 86 organisations around the country.

The funding will support a variety of activities from sport, cooking, IT services, equipment and improvements to premises.

The aim of the grants is to improve the quality of the services for young people involved with the projects.
