Rower Sanita Puspure has lost out on a semi-final spot in the single sculls event.
Despite a strong finish the Cork based athlete finished fourth. She was just .65 of a second outside the top three.

Sailor Annalise Murphy resumes from third position in the laser radial class today at 5.05pm. Carlow’s Finn Lynch is also back on the water this evening and he’s in 21st overall.
Shane Ryan and Nicholas Quinn are in the pool this evening for their heats in the 100 metres freestyle and 200 metres breaststroke.
