Southampton FC team-mates Shane Long and Steven Davis were involved in a playful exchange on Twitter after Davis laughed off speculation linking him with Scottish champions Celtic, writes Douglas Imrie.
The Northern Ireland captain linked to a YouTube clip where a character says: “I haven’t laughed like that in a long time”.

Davis, who previously played for city rivals Rangers, responded in kind by reiterating his passion for the blue half of Glasgow.
@ShaneLong7 you know there's only one team in Glasgow and its blue 😉

Their Premier League club, presumably wanting to make sure the banter stayed friendly, also joined in the action…

The two players are likely to be involved in Southampton’s first game of the new Premier League season against Watford on Saturday – in what will be new manager Claude Puel debut in the division.
Let’s hope they can put their differences aside by then.
