Rathnure St. Anne’s GAA Club
Club Championship Fixtures: Our Juniors play Buffers Alley at 7.15pm on Friday 12th in Monamolin while our Seniors clash with Cloughbawn at 7.15pm on Sunday 14th in Bellefield.
Under-21: Well done to our Under-21 boys won the Roinn 1 District Final with a comfortable victory over Cloughbawn 8-17 to 0-7. They meet Buffers Alley in the County Semi-Final this Tuesday 9th at 7.15pm in St. Patrick’s Park.
Golf Classic
Annual Rathnure GAA Golf Classic is on 2nd September in Enniscorthy. Teams of 4: €200. Prizes for GUI and amateur. Holes can be sponsored by businesses and individuals not playing from €50. Tee times released in July so get in early. Further details from Richie Flynn: 087 2831798.
Club Lotto
The numbers drawn last Tuesday 2nd were: 2, 4, 9, 29. There was no jackpot winner. Barry O’Connor, Rathduff, Betty Hearn, Ballindoney, Abbe Tector, Coolbawn and Rose & Breda, c/o: Handball were the four match three winners who each won €50. The jackpot this Tuesday night is €6,800.
Shelburne United Soccer Club
Shelburne United Soccer Club in Ballywilliam will be entering the following teams this season: Senior Men’s, Youths & Schoolboys u10/11/12/13/15 and Schoolgirls u10/12/14/16 and Women’s. Also we have a Saturday session for our u8s. So if you are interested in playing soccer and are not affiliated to another club or would like to help out in a trainer or manager roll please contact: 087 9418304 or 087 2793793 for more information or to register. This season’s players can also register by calling to Shelburne pitch Tuesday 9th – Friday 12th August between 10.15am – 10.45am and again between 2.45pm – 3.15pm.
