Gardaí have arrested a teenager in Dublin after reports of a disturbance at a house involving a gun.
Officers recovered two firearms this morning after searching for the youth who had escaped the scene before they had arrived.
The manhunt started at around 9.30am this morning following reports of a disturbance at a house in Kilmainham.
There were no reported injuries.
The Emergency Response Unit, Garda Dog Unit and Air Support Unit, were involved in the subsequent search in which the firearms were recovered.
A man in his teens was later arrested in the Inchicore area, and is being held under Section 30 of the Offences against the State Act, 1939 at Kevin Street Garda Station.
