Leicester City travelled to Hull for the opening game of their defence of the Premier League title.

However, Claudio Ranieri’s men found it hard going in their first day back.

An overhead kick from Adama Diomande on the stroke of half-time gave managerless Hull the lead.

However, Leicester fought back straight away in the second half as Riyadh Mahrez slotted home a penalty, courtesy of a foul by Tom Huddlestone, before Robert Snodgrass powered home for Hull to condemn Ranieri’s team to defeat.

Twitter wasn’t surprised.

Although, some weren’t giving up on Leicester’s season so quickly.
