A whistle-blowers website styled on WikiLeaks has been set up in relation to Nama.

The group behind Namaleaks.com says the site will allow anyone who has been treated unfairly or witnessed poor practice at Nama to pass on information.

They claim all information is treated securely and anonymously.

The organiser include TDs Mick Wallace and Clare Daly, and former Irish Times journalist Frank McDonald.

Deputy Wallace said that whistleblowers have protection under Irish law.

“If you are aware of serious malpractice, in other words illegal activity, you are not breaking any law telling us about it and giving us the proof of what exactly has happened,” he said.
