An investigation has been launched after a woman’s body was found in County Wexford.

The woman in her early 50’s was discovered at a house in the Cluain Dara area of Clonard at about 7.30pm last night.

Gardaí have sealed off the scene for a technical examination and the state pathologist has been notified.

The woman’s body remains at the scene.
