Liverpool forward Sadio Mane has reportedly undergone scans in hospital after suffering a shoulder injury.

It is understood Mane sustained the problem in a collision in training on Wednesday morning. The Reds are waiting to discover the extent of the damage.

Liverpool are next in action on Saturday when they face Burnley away in the Premier League.

Mane marked his competitive debut for the club by scoring with a fine, arrowed finish in Sunday’s 4-3 win at Arsenal.

The 24-year-old Senegal international joined the Merseyside outfit from Southampton in June for £30m.
