After a tumultuous day 11 for the Irish in Rio, today is a little quieter. Just three Irish competitors in action, with the first out at 11.30am.

Here’s when you need to be in front of the tv to watch the golf and athletics.

Golf

It is the turn of the women out on the fairways, with two golfers playing for Ireland.

Cavan’s Leona Maguire will be the first tee-off this morning at 11:30am while Stephanie Meadow will get her tournament underway shortly before 1pm.

Athletics

Ciara Everard is the only Irish athlete on the track today.

She competes in heat one of the women’s 800 metres, which is due to get underway at 2.55pm Irish time.
