More than €700,000 worth of drugs were seized by Gardaí yesterday.

In Dublin, heroin, cocaine and cannabis herb with an estimated value of €580,000 were recovered.

A firearm and ammunition were also seized during the search of a premises in Finglas.

A man in his 30s has been arrested and is being detained at Finglas Garda Station.

Separately, drugs with an estimated street value of €126,000 were seized in county Limerick.

Two firearms, ammunition and a firearm component were also recovered.
