Irish athletes will hope to bring the focus back to sport today – with Thomas Barr gunning for a medal in the 400 metres hurdles final.
Here’s when you need to be in front of the tv.
Golf
Leona Maguire and Stephanie Meadow resume from three over par and six over par respectively ahead of the second round of the Golf tournament.

The Waterford man has already broken his own the Irish record on the way to the final. It’s been an eventful season for the University of Limerick based runner who was sidelined for 10 weeks with a hip injury.
Sailing
And finally, the sailors Ryan Seaton and Matt McGovern compete in the Men’s 49er Medal Race, which gets underway at just after five this evening.
It's a really exciting day! Here are the timings and we'll have all the latest updates. #TeamIreland pic.twitter.com/5XWQtpJKF9
