Liam Kearns has kept the faith in the same starting 15 since defeating Cork in the Munster semi-final, although there is a positional switch in attack.
Michael Quinlivan will wear the number 11 jersey and can operate as a kick-out and scoring option.
Kevin O’Halloran, Conor Sweeney and Philip Austin make up the full-forward line.
Mayo named their team earlier today for what will be a first meeting of the sides since the westerners’ four-point victory in a round four qualifier 14 years ago.
Their only other previous Championship meetings were the 1918 and 1920 All-Ireland semi-finals, both of which were won by Tipp.
