Caoimhe Moran won a remarkable third all-Ireland Fleadh victory in-a-row this year

A YOUNG musician from the south of the county has achieved a remarkable three-in-a-row of title victories at the all-Ireland Fleadh.

Caoimhe Moran is a member of the Danescastle Music Group and she attended this year’s Fleadh in Ennis along with other members of the famous music troupe.

Competing in the U12 section, Caoimhe’s instrument of choice was harp and despite being up against some of the finest musicians in the country she managed to pull of a major achievement by winning her overall category – replicating similar achievements in 2014 and 2015!

He teacher is Aileen Kennedy and everyone involved with the school and Danescastle Music Group expressed delight at her Caoimhe’s success.
