A man will appear in court in connection with the seizure of a submachine gun and drugs in Dublin.

The man in his 30’s is due before the Criminal Courts of Justice at 10.30am this morning after being charged at Blanchardstown Garda station last night.

He was arrested on Monday as part of an investigation into serious organised crime.

Gardai recovered a gun, ammunition and cocaine during the search operation at an apartment in Castleknock earlier this week.
