Preparations are being finalised for a homecoming parade for the O’Donovan brothers in Skibbereen this evening.
The Olympic Silver medallists arrived in Cork last night to a heroes’ welcome, before making their way to West Cork.

Gary and Paul O’Donovan were treated to a water cannon salute at Cork Airport last night – returning home from the Rowing World Championships, where Paul won gold in the single lightweight sculls.
It came just 16 days after the pair made history, to take home the first Olympic medal for Ireland for rowing.
