Ireland has O’Donovan brothers fever at the moment and the two lads at the heart of it are enjoying every minute.
Last night Paul and Gary finally made it back to Skibbereen for the official homecoming to honour their Olympic silver medal win in Rio.
Since then, Paul has added a gold medal at the World Lightweight Single Sculls final in Rotterdam on Saturday, adding even more to the celebrations.
The two lads cemented their joker reputations with another top-notch interview on RTÉ last night, including a superb Father Ted reference.
Olympic heroes welcomed home - 'We're not great at judging crowds but I’d say there’s a million or something here' https://t.co/h5fgk4UKeK

In an episode Fr Dougal famously said: “I’m no good at judging the size of crowds Ted, but I’d say there’s about 17 million of them out there.”
The O’Donovan version: “We’re not great at judging crowds but I’d say there’s about a million… a couple of hundred thousand at least.”
While the crowd waited for their rowing heroes to arrive they took the chance to reproduce one of the iconic moves of Euro 2016 – the Icelandic chant.
Looks like it was one helluva night in Skibb – anyone want to let us know how the heads are today?
