Robbie Keane has been handed the chance to lead out the Republic of Ireland for the final time as he wins his 146th and last cap against Oman.
The 36-year-old striker, who announced last week that he would retire from international football after the game, is named in the starting line-up along with new Newcastle defender Ciaran Clark and Bournemouth midfielder Harry Arter, winning his third senior cap.
But there is no place in the XI for midfielder Jeff Hendrick, who’s back in England to complete a club record move to Burnley from Derby.
