Laura Whitmore has revealed that she feels “out of my depth” on the Strictly dance floor.
The Bray native was confirmed in the Strictly Come Dancing line-up last month, and has since been tipped to win the show by her pal Eoghan McDermott – but Laura’s not so sure of herself.
Despite being tipped at 5/1 to win, the MTV star admitted that she’s “sh***ing it”.
“I’m sh***ing it, I’m nervous — I’m everything you can imagine about Strictly. I’m so out of my depth,” told Now magazine.
Aside from nerves, Laura’s looking forward to perfecting her dancing skills, as she’s always been known as “crazy dancing Laura”.
“I’ve always danced, not professionally, of course, but I’ve always done it. “I’m crazy dancing Laura. I’m always dancing — it’s just that I haven’t honed those skills yet. I don’t have those disciplines. I’m so excited to learn.”
The blonde beauty also revealed why she couldn’t pass up the opportunity to take part in the show.
“Taking part in Strictly, you get the chance to train with a professional every single day — it’s amazing,” she added.
The news comes after Laura wowed at the Strictly Come Dancing launch earlier this week.
The presenter took to Instagram to express how happy she felt after the launch night.
“Although the nerves are kicking in, I couldn’t stop smiling yesterday! Working with wonderful people behind and in front of the camera. Feeling happy X #bbcstrictly,” she wrote alongside a snap of her and Ed Balls dancing on the red carpet.
