275 people are waiting on a bed at hospitals across the country.

The Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation claims 204 people are on trolley’s while a further 71 are in overflow areas of wards.

According to the latest trolley watch report – University Hospital Limerick is the most overcrowded with 27 people in need of a bed.

Beaumont Hospital in Dublin is next with 20 people on trolleys and overflow areas of wards.
