Thomas Barr was back on the track last night at the Diamond League meeting in Zurich.
The Waterford runner who came fourth in the Olympic 400 metres hurdles came sixth in last night’s race.
Barr, who missed out on a medal place by just 0.05 seconds at Rio 2016, completed the race in a time of 49.34 in Zurich.
Kerron Clement, the winner of Olympic gold, was victorious again.
Barr had set an Irish national record time of 47.97 in the Rio 2016 final.
