At the start of Strictly season, many BBC One viewers will have tuned in early so as to make sure not to miss the first show – and spotted former judge Arlene Phillips joining the ranks of Pointless Celebrities.
Ex dancer and Strictly Come Dancing original panel member Arlene had a crack at the teatime game show which sees celebrity pairs aim to find the most obscure answer to questions posed to 100 people before the programme.
But in a round asking contestants to name chemical elements in the second half of the alphabet, Arlene left viewers wondering what was going on.
' A Flame'

A is not in the second half of the alphabet.
F is also not.
A Flame is not an element. #PointlessCelebrities
There are so many things wrong with "flame" as a chemical element I don't know where to begin. What is Arlene on? #PointlessCelebrities

However, host Richard Osman was under no illusions about what the viewers were waiting for.
I'm aware that everyone watching #PointlessCelebrities is thinking "hurry up boys, Judge Rinder is going to be on Strictly".
