A 32-year-old man remains in Garda custody in connection with a shooting incident in Dublin.
A man was shot at up to six times yesterday evening, as he attempted to flee a male attacker at Drumalee Park just off the North Circular Road.
He escaped uninjured – and the shooter fled the scene in a red car – a car was later found burned out nearby.
Local Sinn Fein Councillor Janice Boylan, says residents in the area have been left shocked by the incident: “It was just chaotic, people were scared, people didn’t know what was happening.
“Some of the residents were saying it was disgraceful the way it happened, the way the GardaĆ had been present there the last few weeks and they still had the audacity to come up and fire the shots into the house.”
