Niall Horan is set to work with Adele’s writer and producer on his debut solo album.

Simon Cowell recently revealed that the Mullingar native would be announcing details of his solo album “very soon” – and now it looks like Niall will be working with the best in the business.

Greg Kurstin is the man behind Adele’s smash hit comeback single Hello, and has also worked with the likes of Sia, Katy Peryy, Paul McCartney and Pink.

According to The Sun, Niall’s team drafted in Greg to ensure Niall gets taken seriously with his music once he goes solo.

“Niall wrote with One Direction but he’s got a real talent, and the bosses are hoping to make the most of that by teaming him up with some brilliant people.

“He wants to move away from boyband stuff and show what he can do, and he’s being doing some great work with Greg, among others.

“There was a worry at first that because he came from a manufactured band, he wouldn’t be taken seriously.

“But people are queueing around the block to record with him. It’s early days, but this record looks like it could really be something special,” a source said.
