Lil Wayne has posted a cryptic tweet that has made people think he is quitting the music business.
Weezy has had a tough year, suffering from seizures and dealing with his ongoing rift with label Cash Money. But, amid the retirement speculation, support has been forthcoming from across the globe.
Drake is the latest to show his love, bringing New Orleans native Wayne out on stage in Houston. Wayne shared some thoughts about his label with the crowd and performed fans’ favourite A Milli.

Wayne is widely credited with giving Drake his first chance at success, after signing him to Young Money. The pair met in Houston back in 2008, making Wayne’s appearance at Drake’s Summer Sixteen show on September 4 rather fitting.
Drizzy took to Instagram after the show to share a few words on Weezy and the current situation.
He wrote: “The boss @liltunechi. We are fighting until you get yours. Freedom to drop music and peace of mind. I don’t know what these other weirdos are on with all the side talks but I know you gave me a shot and all I can ever do with the rest of my life is return the favor. YOUNG MONEY FOREVER.”
Drake is just the latest to get behind Wayne, with a number of other big names in hip-hop offering support.
