It’s all getting a bit complicated in the world of Strictly Come Dancing.
Just to catch you up… on Saturday night’s launch show, TV presenter Laura Whitmore was paired with pro dancer Giovanni Pernice, who had just ended his romance with her pal and 2015 contestant Georgia May Foote. Awkward, right?
There were initial reports swirling that the former Coronation Street actress had “fears” over Laura being paired up with and then becoming intimate with Giovanni, but Georgia quickly tore them down. And now she has gone one further and wished her ex a happy birthday, proving that things really might just be OK between the threesome.
The petite brunette – who was the runner-up on last year’s series with her then-beau – shared her wishes for Giovanni on Twitter for all to see.

This followed her epic take-down of reports that said she was worried about a hook-up between her ex-boyfriend and her friend Laura, with whom she was pictured on a night out recently with pals Caroline Flack and Ashley Roberts.

“Georgia knows just how intimately the couples have to dance and is terrified that Giovanni might hook up with Laura,” a source told The Sun.
“She is devastated that they are no longer together and struggling with the thought of Giovanni getting up close and personal with a friend of hers.”
But, on Saturday evening, Georgia put it all to rest, tweeting her feelings for all to see.

The good-looking couple had lasted from last year’s series of Strictly until just a few weeks ago, when it all ended, the two of them announcing the split on Twitter.
