Republic of Ireland manager Martin O’Neill has said he doesn’t think anything of speculation linking him with the vacant job at Premier League side Hull.
O’Neill oversaw a 2-2 draw in Serbia in last night’s opening World Cup qualifier.
It was revealed in June that he had agreed a new two-year contract with the FAI, but that deal has yet to be signed.
Hull have been without a permanent manager since Steve Bruce resigned shortly before the start of the new season, with Mike Phelan acting as interim manager for their opening games.
O’Neill though, insists there is no issue.
“There will really be no hiccups there, we should have got it sorted,” he said.
“We have shaken hands on the deal quite some time ago.”
