Narcos season two only just dropped, but the show’s producers have already moved to confirm two more seasons of the show.

The next instalment will reach our screens in 2017, with José Padilha and Eric Newman staying on as producers as they look to continue telling the story of Colombia’s drug trade.

Season two of the hit series takes in 18 months of notorious drug kingpin Pablo Escobar’s life, a much shorter period of time than the 15 years we witnessed in the first season.

It makes predicting what season three will focus on a thankless task, for more than a few reasons, but the face of a Cali cartel leader appearing in the trailer (above) may give a few hints.
