Katherine Lynch looked fabulous as she strutted into a swimming pool in red high heels on Celebrity Operation Transformation.
The comedienne is taking part in RTE’s popular weight-loss show with celebrity solicitor Gerald Kean, TV3’s Elaine Crowley, funny man Karl Spain and RTÉ Radio 1 reporter Brenda Donohue.
“I wore them because I’m a punk,” she said.
The Leitrim native admitted that she wore the heels to have a bit of costume and a laugh while still looking glam.
“It was week 1 and I still needed a tiny bit of costume just to get me through the fear of getting into a pool in my togs in a swimming pool in front of the nation,” she told the Herald.
“I wore them because I’m a punk and I bloody well am not going to do what I am told so I wore the high-heels so there was a little bit of defiance, a little bit of Katherine Lynch, a little bit of comedy, a little bit of glam.”
