Singer Jessie Ware has given birth to her first child, a baby girl.

The Say You Love Me singer, 31, welcomed the newborn with her husband, personal trainer Sam Burrows.

She thanked her midwife for helping with the delivery.

We had a beautiful baby girl on Monday. Just want to give a huge ❤️ to our midwife, Emilio at UCLH for helping us through it! Love the NHS X

Sam and Jessie met at school. The two married on the Greek Island of Skopelos in 2016.

In April she revealed she was expecting, posting a photo of the bump and writing: “Dropping this year, and it’s not the album.”
