
A man in his 30s has died in an overnight road accident in Co Tipperary.
He was fatally injured when the car he was driving left the road and collided with a fence on the N52 at Ardcroney at approximately 2am this morning.
The man, who was the sole occupant of the car, was pronounced dead at the scene and his body removed to University Hospital Limerick.
The stretch of road is currently closed pending an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and local diversions are in place.
